Have an amazing Pop Star Party with your friends at Born in a Barn Recording Studio, Warwickshire. Choose your favourite songs to record just like a real Pop Star.
First it's rehearsals to get the hang of it then a short break taking photos for the CD. You feast on a buffet whilst your single is produced then straight back in to make your Pop Video, try a solo then finish off in Club BB using lasers, smoke machine, strobes & spotlights.
Yup its true - I never knew we lived so close to Hollywood but just 35 miles away in the Birmingham suburbs is a very special village called Hollywood. Some charming girls live there all aspiring to be pop stars so they popped to Born in a Barn Studio for Larna's 11th party.
Due to a hold-up on M6 things got off to a late start but the girls made up for this by singing so well. Choosing Rihanna's Only Girl in the World the groups battled it out for who was best effortlessly. After a speed munch and red carpet photo shoot in the crazy corridor Larna was up for a solo and chose Duffy's Warwick Avenue which went pretty well. Well done Larna.
Choosing to sing The Lazy Song by Mr Bruno Mars this was a very laid back party to start with but we soon changed all that after enjoying a big buffet and disco at the end. The Red Carpet photo shoot went well with all the girls enjoying being centre of attention.
Jessica from Stratford took Jessie J to the cleaners with her version of Price Tag - look out Jessie cos Jessica R is here!! The new corridor is tricky to capture on photo - see the new lazers in this one.
Great party with tons of fun and an awesome cake which took a slight battering on the roadtrip over but got fully munched up so it really didn't matter!
Sophia and Helena, 2 very hyped twins from Leam had a crazy busy party at Born in a Barn Studio resulting in tooth loss!! No fighting but at 9 i guess things just drop out - never in the history of the studio have we had to search for a tooth so that was a first!!!
The twins had chosen good 'ol fave 'Price Tag' to yodel and things got off to a tricky start due to far too much excitement mainly. We got there tho and even had a very special Happy Birthday tune sung a'capella by the group. Well done girls and I hope the weekend is just as good.
This weekend saw a rather unusual party. Roger's Mum (a choir member and keen everyday singer) turned 70 recently and had a party of her own. If you have had a Pop Star Party run by Roger you will know that the cake is a very special part of the celebrations. Cooking being a sideline hobby for Roger a totally crazy cake had to be baked & decorated for this almost Royal occasion!! Happy birthday Mum!
Olivia had a big party with 12 friends and took on Black Eyed Peas 'I Gotta Feeling' as the group song plus Adele's 'Set Fire to the Rain' as solo both of which went very well. The red carpet was a hit and everyone enjoyed the disco at the end with the new big strobes. Well done Olivia!
Sophie enjoyed her 13th birthday at Born in a Barn Studio for a Pop Star Party. She and her party pals enjoyed the all new Pop Star Parade with superb new lights (thanks to PSL Leamington!). Singing 'Forget You' by Mr Cee Lo Green it was a great party and the solo went really well too choosing the same song as they just couldn't wait for the disco!
Elvie had a complete surprise party this week and even had personalised Pop Star Party sunglasses to put ours to shame. Price Tag was the song choice which went down very well and the group had a great time - with even more food brought in by her Mum this was a feast. Im sure some of these girls will be back. Jumping was totally their thing and the graffiti board got well vandalised - thanks !!
Georgia and her crew from Coventry had a good laugh this week at Pop Star Party. Not concerned about the interior decor not being quite complete the group enjoyed the decking outside and meeting the cattle! Taking on The A Team was nothing for this group and Georgia sang a wonderful version of Someone Like You for us all at the end - Happy Birthday Georgia!
