10 year olds from Coalville area open new party room

What a great party we had with the Coalville Collective - Ellie brought 14 of her mates, to say nothing of 6 adults to transport them to the barn, to have her 10th birthday party with us at Born in a Barn Studio.

The morning had been spent recording former BOSE Corporation president, John Coleman, who had come from America to sing his song, written by Roger's other sideline RantProd Music Production, with Tony White. What a pressure recording - to be followed by such a big party and christen the new party room, made for a very special day.

Even the cake had been specially made and what top class cake it was - nice.

Ellie had chosen to sing The Spice Girls 'Wannabe' as a group and Little Mix 'Cannonball' as her solo. Everything went really well and all the kids enjoyed the singing, red carpet photo shoot, buffet and disco and Ellie looked great her new pink Pop Star Party hoody at the end. Nice one Ellie and happy birthday.

Corby 11 year olds complete Easter Break Pop Star Parties

Keeley from Corby with her mates had a great afternoon with us at Born in a Barn Studio to round off the Easter Break marathon of parties.
Singing Carly Rae Jepsens debut track Call Me Maybe (and very nicely too) the group had clearly rehearsed it and knew themselves when things were right, making it really easy for everyone.

After the buffet in the party pod and an excellent red carpet photo shoot in Pop Star Parade it was time for Keeley's solo, which was Domino by Jessie J. Shy at the start but not shy by the time we got to this and we got a great solo from her - well done Keeley.

Snobs Limousines 8 year olds enjoy Pop Star Party

Continuing the theme of going posh for the day (coincidentally whilst we have the builders in!) we were extremely proud to host a party for 8 year old Eisha, whose Dad has been to BB Studio many times already, as he owns Snobs Limousines and regularly delivers kids to the barn in his very long stretch limo pictured here - for once it didn't get all muddy!!

Eisha is only 8 but certainly has some lungs on her - her group sang California Gurls by Katy Perry then after the photo shoot and buffet food up in the NEW writing room again (whilst our party room is being refurbished) she took to the hotspot and sang Jessie J's Domino, as her solo.

The party went really well and everyone had a great time wearing Jessie J masks, singing and dancing in our disco room. See you soon girls.

Leamington 12 year olds enjoy pop star party with a twist

Amy had her 12th birthday with us at Born in a Barn Studio and brought 10 lovely friends with her from Leamington Spa. Everything has been a little upside down this week since the refurbishments to our back room have been underway, but we managed (in style) using our NEW writing room, which is normally only open to adults - the lucky Leamington lot!

Going posh was the theme for the day as Amy's solo was not a pop song but instead she chose to sing a classical piece called O Mio Babbino Caro - in just 2 takes it was complete but we asked her to sing it again, just because at 12 years old and with no previous formal singing lessons it was hard to believe she sang so well - top stuff Amy. Kiri Te Kanawa watch out!

The group song was Want U Back by my fave pop star at the moment Cher Lloyd. I had seen Cher live at Nottinghams Rock City the previous night and whilst her gig was cool, the effort we put into the 'Urgh' part of this song proved loadsa fun. See yu soon Amy for some more classical singing done under more 'normal' conditions.

Knowle 9 year olds have Easter pop star party

Paige had a great time with her friends from Knowle at Pop Star Party run at Born in a Barn Studio.
She chose Price Tag by good ol' Jessie J as her group song and they all sang it really well. Lucy was up for the rap and gave a great effort to make the CD sounds very cool.

After singing happy birthday and prancing around in our Pop Star Parade for the red carpet photo shoot Paige tackled Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend and after just 3 runs had delivered a great vocal - well done Paige.

Warwickshire 13 year olds have top time at Pop Star party

Chelsey came to Pop Star Party 2 years ago and couldn't believe the changes we have made to the parties now - Pop Star Parade was a hit again with everyone including Mum having a mad time in there posing like diva's! Price Tag was on the session again today and look who popped in!

Thanks once again to Mask-arade for these amazing new masks. Chelsey sang Adele's Someone Like You as her solo and did a really cool job too. Well done Chelsey - see you all soon.

Sutton Coldfield 11 year olds have great party

Hannah from Sutton Coldfield enjoyed her day with her mates at pop star party singing Olly Murs' Dance With Me Tonight as a group and then 1D's What Makes You Beautiful with her sister.
Not an easy group to choreograph into a great group photo but a lively lot who all enjoyed the Jessie J masks to the full. Some excellent singers in the group and a real pop stars daughter too - Does anyone remember D:Ream and 'Things can only get better' from 1993 nearly 20 years ago!!!
