Warwickshire 12 year olds top the bill for Pop Star Party

Ella had an amazing party today. Her 12 friends were all great singers & great personalities and the songs went exceptionally well, making the party a pleasure to run. Choosing 2 songs as group songs Ella kicked off in style with LMFAO's 'Sexy & I Know It' which took no time to record as they were such an organised group. Buzzing from the start we took a break from singing and did the photo shoot in Pop Star Parade (our purpose built red carpet room where personalities come to life) then had a bit of buffet food then straight back in to sing Labrinth's 'Beneath Your Beautiful'. Who needs Emile Sandé when Ella is in the studio?!! Top group song and and Ella added a little solo part in the middle. Well done everyone - see yu all soon.
Oh how could i forget? - the cake was amazing - a purpose made Born in a Barn Party birthday cake - will post about this tomorrow - wicked!!

Crazy photos - crazy day - nice one!!

Leicester 12 year olds lovin' their Pop Star Party

Today was unusual because our super cool pop stars were twins. Finola and Naimh from Leicestershire had a very special party with their select friends and we had a lot of fun. It's the first time any disabled kids have been to a party at Born in a Barn Studio and we all had a brill time.

Taylor Swift's We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together and Little Mix's Wings were on the hit list today and both seemed quite easy for this great group.

Warwick 10 years have wild time at Pop Star Party

Emma from Warwick had a wicked time at her Pop Star Party at Born in a Barn Studio with 12 of her mates, and enormous cup cake birthday cake and tons of really big voices.
They did 2 songs as a a group with no solo today so we had fun  getting through everything.
First up was Carly Rae Jepson's Call Me Maybe which proved tricky at the end but generally went OK with everyone really enjoying the singing experience. The second choice was a new song to our parties but they delivered Emile Sande's Read All About It with their own special charm and shouts!!
As you can see there was a fairly large Psy influence to todays party too and an obsession with playing, singing and dancing Gangnam Style - me thinks this will last for quite a while!
Emma had a wonderful time and we adults all needed a big rest afterwards!!

Meriden 11 year olds mix it up at Pop Star Party

Jade and her gang of mates from Meriden had a great party recently choosing 2 songs to sing as a group. First up was Die Young by Ke$ha which turned out to be a great Pop Star Party song and was sung really well. After the photo shoot (with random Bolt impressions) and buffet they sang Carly Rae Jepson's Call Me Maybe and although everyone was super hyped by this time we got a respectable copy down for posterity.  Even tho it was freezing outside the barn was cooking for these kids.
Top party and well done everyone.

Henley in Arden 8 year olds rock it up at Pop Star Party

Harry from Henley in Arden is a keen drummer and was more into Indie Rock than pop but this didn't stop him having a great time at his party. We set the drum kit up for him and he all but disappeared behind it when he had a go to show off his percussive talents.  Keep it up Harry - drumming is a lot of fun.

Going a bit off the normal track he had also rewritten the words to his chosen group song Park Life by Blur (from the 80's) and instead had a unique set of words titled School Life!  It took a while but with good coaching (from Dad as well) we got there and the finished track as ever sounded cool - well done Harry.

A spirited group and we all had some excellent home made cake at the end.
